A Web3 data infrastructure company building a decentralized HTAP (hybrid transactional/analytical processing) data warehouse for blockchain developers, dApps, and enterprises. Before engaging Systango at scale, the client was building this capability internally without production-ready multi-chain indexing, a Studio dApp, or natural-language query tooling.

Challenge

  • Multi-chain indexing at production scale: Index and join on-chain and off-chain data across multiple blockchains simultaneously.
  • No developer-facing product: A Studio dApp for developers to interact with the platform had not yet been built.
  • No natural-language query layer: Developers needed a simpler way to query blockchain data without writing raw SQL.
  • Speed and pace of a growing platform: New capabilities needed to be built and scaled faster than the client's internal team could deliver independently.

  • Build production-grade multi-chain indexing: Develop scalable blockchain indexing with ETL pipelines and event decoding across multiple networks.
  • Design and deliver the Studio dApp: Build the platform's developer-facing Studio dApp for interacting with blockchain data and capabilities.
  • Build an OpenAI-powered text-to-SQL chatbot: Enable developers to query blockchain data using natural language instead of writing raw SQL.
  • Integrate Chainlink Functions: Enable on-chain publishing of query results through Chainlink Functions.
  • Scale delivery capacity: Expand development capacity and delivery across additional workstreams as the client's requirements grew.
What We Built

What We Built

  • Studio: Built a developer-facing dApp with wallet authentication and query tooling.
  • Multi-chain blockchain indexing: Implemented ETL pipelines, smart contract event decoding, and a Smart Contract Index Utility.
  • OpenAI-powered text-to-SQL chatbot: Developed a natural-language querying layer backed by Apache Solr, enabling developers to query blockchain data without writing raw SQL.
  • API Gateway and Kafka streaming: Established API Gateway and Kafka-based data streaming, with AI/ML insights built on top of the indexed data.
  • Chainlink integrations: Implemented Chainlink Functions and direct-request integrations for publishing query results on-chain.
  • DevOps and PoC support: Supported infrastructure and proof-of-concept initiatives, including TiDB and Snowflake implementations.
