Systango’s 6th Anniversary: Treat to Tango
“Another year passed away with so many ups and downs. Yet, Systango will always be the shining gem of IT’s Crown.”
Oh Yeh, those who couldn’t read my last article, might not be aware that this new year ought to be special for Systango Members as it completed successful 6 years on 7th Jan 2013, so it’s Systango’s 6th Anniversary!
Many of you might be wondering why am I mentioning new year when the day of celebration was 7th Jan for us? Let me tell you my dear friends, Systango team celebrated the entire week!
Can’t believe?
Let me take you to the journey of our fun filled week. Don’t you think I should name it? Umm.. Okay! I got a new name for our fun filled 5 days : Treat to Tango.
–Day 1 ; 1st January 2013–
What could be better then getting a holiday on a chilly winter day? Yes, our generous Bosses made the 1st day of year, by letting us spend it with our families. (Oh, Don’t worry, there is lot more to come yet. :D)
–Day 2 ; 2nd January 2013–
“Human species classified themselves as Rich-Poor; High class-Low class ; Hindu-Muslim ; National-Foreigner and what not. But there is one thing that binds us all together – Blood.”
Humanity was our first step on this New year. “Blood Donation Camp” was organized by Systango members, and believe me, it was more fun then what we thought could be painful. We always see blood donation as a process to save life, but the feeling of giving your blood to a needy takes you to the cloud of generosity.
I heartily appreciate the way Systango showed us the way to do good deed.
–Day 3 ; 3rd January 2013–
As soon as I entered office, few people were running around, some were on call screaming to get stuff, others were just climbing over tables, separating their spaces from other people around by tying clothes from the top, hopping all around to get scissors and tapes. What a view it was!
Didn‘t get me yet? Damn, you gotta know this. It was “Bay Decoration Day“. Whole staff was divided into four teams. People were so innovative that they turned office into a School, a Scary House, Village & Go-Green theme. Every theme had it’s own charm. As on one side, there were people with breath taking make-up scaring you down to your spine, on the other hand, there were innocent students trying to blend their ‘Vision Quest International School’ with all sort of knowledgeable things. ‘Go Green’ people were dressed up in rainbow shades, while there was a whole different scene of village in the other room. From office to a small little world of every different shade was a piece of cake! ‘Bay Decoration’ was indeed a great event!
–Day 4 ; 4th January 2013–
“Treasure Hunt”, another surprising event! More for the participants, who were trying to figure out places from the clues given to them. It was a brainstorming activity. I loved watching people jumping around!
–Day 5 ; 5th January 2013–
Waiting was indeed fun, but finally the day arrived. The most awaited party of the year. A day of celebration. A day of Systango!
The function included events like Theme-based Fashion Show & Group Performances. Now this is something not many people know. Saturday morning, half of the office was already here; preparing for their performance. It seemed like we were back to school, with only exception that we had no teacher on our head! Yes, we got tired as the day passed on but we were too excited for our performances.
As the time arrived, we reached the venue. With different get ups, it seemed like we were in a whole different world, where it was no more official now. It was a party with a personal touch, as invited guests were referred as the extended family of Systango.
Fashion show and different games won everybody’s heart. And there we were, showing off the different side of coin, walking on ramp, and feeling like super models. Though it was not just a walk, it was a Super model IT walk. Beauty with brain!
A fantastic event! Cold night, Bonfire, Music, Dance, Family & Friends. What else you need to make a night special?
“Whatever you do.. Wherever you go..
You wont find something better than..Systango!”
Its like you read my mind! You appear to know so much about this, like you wrote the book in it or something.
I think that you could do with a few pics to drive the
message home a little bit, but instead of that, this is fantastic blog.
An excellent read. I’ll definitely be back.
